My First Thrive Market Haul

So I finally decided to try out Thrive Market for the first time. My whole ordering experience was good and the shipping time was awesome. I placed my order on the 6th and it got to me by the 11th, delivered right to my door. Eating healthy meals isn’t hard for me, but when it comes to snacking I could make some better choices. For example I like fruit snacks, and some of them are said to be made from 100% fruits and natural products. But what they don’t tell you is the animal by products that are used as well. So for that I decided to try and snack a little bit healthier. Thrive Market is an online store that sells products and groceries, natural, organic, vegan and they also cater to many different types of diets. Below are the items that I purchased, I got a mixture of snacks, cooking ingredients, drinks and also a free sample item with my order.

  • Vegan Rob’s: Probiotic Cauliflower Puffs
    •               Turmeric Supergrain Chips
  • Earth Balance: Vegan Cheddar Crackers
  • YumEarth Organics: Organic Fruit Snacks
  • Daiya: Deluxe Cheddar Style Cheeze Sauce

Why I Waist Train

If you’re wondering why I push and promote waist training so hard it’s because of the results I have seen for myself. When I first started waist training it was new to me because one I didn’t know anyone personally who was doing it at the time and it was super uncomfortable at first. Now I love it and waist train for 8+ hours a day and I can honestly say it’s what helped to keep my skin tight and firm as I was losing weight.

Starting Over

The best part about your journey is that you can start over as many times as you like. So here I am today 12/2/2016 starting over again. I’m not starting over because I failed, because you only truly fail if you didn’t learn something. I’m more starting over to give it a different approach. My whole reason for getting into health and fitness was so that I can lose weight the healthiest and most natural was possible and cost efficient as well. I then decided to blog about it because over the time of me losing weight many people would always ask me what I was doing and encouraging me to share my story. I really hate the sound of my voice which is why I didn’t start on youtube, but I may consider it sometime in the future. With this start over I plan on on blogging on everything that I do or learn on my journey because it’s far  from over. With the pressure of having to keep up with my blog it would hopefully keep me on track. Everything is always better with support so I hope that everyone finds my blog interesting and don’t hold back on comment and suggestions.

Motivation

No matter what, stay motivated. The only way things work out is through hard work, dedication and motivation. You must not lose sight of your start up or what pushed you to finally get your wheels moving. It’s not going to be easy each day, you’re not going to wake up to a sunny sky everyday. Some days will be harder than others and some days it may rain all day. It took me a very long time to actually understand that you have to keep yourself motivated, you can’t rely on others to constantly push you to your goal. Yes we all need a little push every now and again but if the only time you’re making progress is when someone if be hide of you then your not making progress at all. Continue reading “Motivation”

How it all started…..

I accepted my weight at one point, I thought maybe losing weight wasn’t for everybody. I always set goals of where I wanted to be but I never really got there. It really sounded good that I wanted to lose 10 or 20 pounds before carnival or before the summer was over, but I never really started or stuck with it. If you really knew me you would know I’m one of the top laziest people if there ever was a list. You would think 4 years of JROTC would knock that out of me, but it didn’t.
